Simply speaking the meaning of the word “Ninja” is “hiding person” and the art of the ninja is a combination of the special abilities and techniques. Their aim was to keep all of their techniques, tricks and spy activities a secret. All ninja weapons and tools were made not for attack but for self-defense.
The Ninja arts (ninjitsu) are based on 5 elements: fire, water, wood, metal and soil. Here we will define the five ninja arts. By using fire, ninja distracted their enemies. By using different tools ninja could walk on water,and hide in the trees. By using metal tools, ninja could hide under-ground. The use of fire, water- escape, tree climbing, metal tools, and hiding under-ground are well known in connection with ninja.
